Orange juice is loaded with Vitamin C. Carrot juice will give you lots of beta-carotene - as well as B-vitamins, potassium and other minerals. The ginger offers anti-inflammatory properties and a zingy flavor!
Drink this Orange Carrot Ginger Juice to increase your vitamin and mineral intake. It should not be to replace a meal, or replace your normal consumption of fruits and vegetables.
Ingredients:
3 oranges
6 carrots
4 nubs of ginger
Prep:
Wash and cut off the root of your carrot sticks. Cut in half, then quarters to fit in the shoot of your juicer.
Wash and peel your oranges. I leave as much of the “pith” (or the white outer shell) on as possible as it provides lots of nutrients and Vitamin C!
Peel your ginger and cut into 4 1 inch nubs to fit in the shoot of your juicer.
JUICE AWAY! If you want this juice to be sweeter, add more oranges, or an apple. If you want it to be less sweet, add celery.
