Pan Seared Brussels Sprouts

If you haven’t been to Ruby’s Cafe, you have to go! They have amazing vegan/vegetarian options that are very satisfying and filling. They serve an amazing Brussels Sprouts side dish which I decided to recreate using just 5 ingredients!

Ingredients:

Brussels Sprouts (I used the whole bag from Trader Joes)

5 cloves of garlic

1 tablespoon of butter

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1/4 cup of parmesan cheese

Prep:

  1. First, cut off the ends of the brussels sprouts, and cut them in half.

  2. In a non-stick skillet, heat up 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once heated, add the garlic and let it brown.

  3. Add the brussels sprouts and let cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. Add 1 more tablespoon of olive oil, and half the cheese. Cook for another 2-5 minutes on medium.

  4. Once the brussels sprouts are cooked, add the rest of the cheese and serve!
