How my juicing journey begun!
About six months ago, I finally got around to unpacking my juicer from its box, put it together, and slowly began incorporating celery juice in the morning to see what the hype was all about. From the moment I started, I couldn’t stop. I felt an instant boost in my mood, different kind of energy, and no sugar cravings. I found myself going to Trader Joe’s first thing in the morning and buying all types of produce to experiment with my juicer. This small act itself brought me peace and I knew I was on the right path!
I have always been on the go physically and mentally. It’s always been hard for me to focus on one thing at a time for different reasons, but juicing has been an important factor with helping me combat old mindsets. Consciously preparing and making a juice each morning has taught me the art of slowing down. I can honestly say I have learned to enjoy every aspect of juicing –the prep, beautiful tasting result, cleaning, using the compost for different things, and lasting energy effects I feel throughout the day. I have made it part of my lifestyle.
Juicing has also been a fabulous and natural way to sneak in vitamins and minerals. For years I tried taking pills, supplements, and other synthetic remedies to help my body mentally and physically. Through juicing, amongst other things, I’ve found the best way to nourish my body is with whole foods from the earth.
